Terms of Service
These Terms explain the rules for using Sailbit, including accounts, subscriptions, workspace content, AI-assisted features, and cancellation.
1. Who we are
Sailbit is operated by FLIP TECH LTDA, a company in Brazil. In these Terms, "Sailbit," "we," "us," and "our" refer to FLIP TECH LTDA.
Questions about these Terms or the service can be sent to felipe@fliptech.dev.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By creating an account, starting a trial, paying for a subscription, or using Sailbit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Sailbit.
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. Sailbit is not directed to children under 13. If you use Sailbit on behalf of a company or project, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
3. What Sailbit does
Sailbit is a web-based productivity workspace for indie builders managing multiple products. It helps you capture tasks, assign them to products, classify work as Build, Distribution, or Other, plan a realistic week, review unfinished work, and see a recommended Now task.
Sailbit is manual-first. Any AI-assisted feature is advisory and depends on the context you provide. You remain responsible for deciding what to do, what to publish, and how to run your products.
4. Accounts and security
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity that happens through your account, except where the activity is caused by our failure to use reasonable care.
- You must provide accurate account and billing information and keep it reasonably current.
- Tell us at felipe@fliptech.dev if you believe your account has been compromised.
5. Subscriptions, trials, cancellation, and refunds
Sailbit may offer a free setup flow, trial access, and paid monthly or yearly subscriptions. Prices, plan features, trial length, and limits are shown before checkout. Stripe processes checkout, payment methods, invoices, renewals, and subscription management.
Unless you cancel before the trial or current billing period ends, your subscription renews automatically and Stripe may charge the payment method on file. You can manage or cancel your subscription from the billing area in Sailbit or through Stripe's hosted billing portal.
Payments are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we separately agree in writing. Taxes, currency conversion, card fees, and bank fees may apply depending on your location and payment method.
6. Your workspace content
You keep ownership of the products, tasks, notes, attachments, CSV imports, weekly intents, and other content you add to Sailbit.
You grant us a limited license to host, store, transmit, display, process, back up, and otherwise use your content only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve Sailbit, including to provide AI-assisted features you choose to use.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to use or content that is unlawful, harmful, malicious, or violates another person's rights.
7. AI-assisted features
- AI-assisted features may classify imported tasks, suggest how backlog items fit a weekly intent, or explain why a task may be useful now.
- AI output can be incomplete, wrong, duplicated, or poorly suited to your business context. Review it before relying on it.
- Sailbit does not provide legal, financial, tax, medical, employment, safety, or other professional advice.
- Do not use Sailbit AI features to make high-risk or legally significant decisions about people.
8. Acceptable use
- Do not use Sailbit to break the law, violate rights, or distribute harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
- Do not attempt to access accounts, data, systems, or infrastructure that you are not authorized to access.
- Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or bypass limits in Sailbit except where the law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
- Do not upload malware, secrets that you are not authorized to store, or regulated sensitive data unless Sailbit explicitly supports that use.
9. Third-party services
Sailbit relies on third-party services such as Supabase, Stripe, PostHog, OpenAI, and Google authentication. Their services may be subject to their own terms and privacy notices.
We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control, but we choose providers to support the operation, security, analytics, billing, and AI-assisted features of Sailbit.
10. Changes and availability
We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Sailbit as the product evolves. We try to avoid changes that unnecessarily break your workflow, but we do not promise that every feature will stay available forever.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as posting the updated Terms or showing notice in the product. Continued use after the effective update means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
You may stop using Sailbit at any time. You can request account deletion through Settings where available or by contacting felipe@fliptech.dev.
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create security risk, misuse the service, fail to pay amounts due, or if we are required to do so by law.
After termination or deletion, we may retain limited records where needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, tax, dispute resolution, backup integrity, or legal compliance.
12. Sailbit intellectual property and feedback
Sailbit, its design, software, brand, logo, and product experience are owned by FLIP TECH LTDA or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property to you.
If you send ideas, feedback, or suggestions, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation. We will not claim ownership of your workspace content just because you used Sailbit.
13. Disclaimers and liability
Sailbit is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, FLIP TECH LTDA will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost goodwill, loss of data, or business interruption.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable consumer, privacy, or other mandatory laws.
14. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, except where mandatory laws in your location require otherwise. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts under applicable law.
